Farukh Rashid is Vice President for Finance and Accounting for Adams Communications and Technologies Inc. In this role, he is responsible for oversight of all internal and external financial reporting, financial planning, financial controls, capital structure, accounting, audit, financial services, tax and treasury. Prior to his current role, Mr.Rashid served as the company’s Finance Corporate Controller for six years.

Mr. Rashid has more than 30 years of experience working with multi-billion dollar government contracting organizations that serve government and commercial clients, having a broad focus in defense, technology, and financial sectors. He has extensive experience in mergers, acquisitions and integration of accounting systems. Prior to joining Acet, he worked with L-3 Communications, Engility, ICF and Capgemini and had served in a series of Finance and Accounting leadership roles in the government contracting industry.  He has experience leading and managing finance and administration functions within these multi-billion dollar government contracting organizations. During his tenure in government contracting, he has also held compliance oversight responsibilities and is knowledgeable across technical aspects of government accounting and compliance.

Mr. Rashid earned his Master of Science in Accounting from S. New Hampshire University and started his career in 1992 as financial analyst in Salem, New Hampshire. Being proficient in computer science, he applies his knowledge to enhance work productivity through the years.  As a member of the Senior Management teams, he has been a strategic and tactile thinker, with strong implementation abilities.
