SUMMARY

The mission of the Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC) is to provide essential, technical research, development, testing and evaluation (RDT&E) information rapidly, accurately and reliably to support DoD customers’ needs. Organizationally, embedded within DTIC are the Information Analysis Centers (IAC), which are structured into two principal components: three Basic Centers of Operations (BCO) and three IAC Multiple Award Contracts (MAC), each of the three focused on either Cyber, Defense Systems, or Homeland Security.

BACKGROUND

Adams Communication & Engineering Technology, Inc. (ACET) has been selected as an awardee for the Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC) Information Analysis Center Multiple Award Contract (IAC MAC) Unrestricted/Full and Open competition acquisition. The multiple-award, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract has a $28 billion ceiling and a maximum nine-year period of performance.  As part of Pool 1, ACET will provide DTIC with research, development, test, and evaluation (RDT&E) and other research and development (R&D) related analytical services to support the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines Corps and other Department of Defense (DoD) and U.S. Government customers.

ACET is the only small business of the fifteen companies that received awards on the unrestricted full-and-open pool.
